Vista 2025.6 Update

An email was sent out recently from Trimble informing users of an important update coming soon, Vista 2025.6. If you are using Vista in the cloud, you will receive a separate email to let you know when you will be getting the update. On premises Vista users will be notified when the update is generally released.

Trimbles update strategy has changed starting with this release. They are moving to a system of smaller more frequent cumulative version updates. Prior to this change Trimble's strategy was to have major releases and service packs on a semiannual basis.

Update 2025.6 is the first of these updates. The 2025.6 represents Year.Month. The reason behind this new strategy is to deliver enhancements and new features on a basis that is more rapid and consistent. You can read more about this change in strategy by clicking here.

If you are a Vista user who accesses Vista through Vista Remote Link (VRL) ACTION IS REQUIRED. A Vista Client and Crystal Report Update will need to be done in order to insure compatibility with the latest features. After your update has occurred, you will need to install the following items from here.

• Vista Client - file name VistaClient.25.6.13.9.msi
• ODBC Driver 17 - Click on the Vista 2025 folder - file name VC_redist.x64.exe and msodbcsql.msi
• Crystal Reports SP25 - Click on the Vista 2025 folder - file name
• CRRuntime_64bit_ 13_ 0_ 25.msi
