The 2025 R4 release is officially here — and it's full of updates designed to make life easier for both admins and portal users. From time-saving automation to better visibility and control, there’s something for everyone in this release.

Key Highlights

I-9 Audit Report

Now you can track all changes to I-9 forms — who updated what, when, and from where. Access the full audit trail via PDF, straight from the Onboarding Dashboard or Onboarding Details.

Meal Break Enforcement for Timecards

Prevent employees from clocking back in too early after a meal break. This new setting lets you define a minimum break duration, ensuring compliance with company policies.

Assign Buyers to PO Requisitions

You can now assign a buyer to one or more PO requisitions directly from the Purchasing Agent Dashboard. It’s quick, intuitive, and eliminates unnecessary approval bottlenecks.

Notes Columns for Checklists and Action Items

By enabling a new portal setting, you can now include a Notes column on both Checklists and Action Items. Great for capturing quick comments that live in context.

Improved Work Completed Notes Field

Entering notes on a Work Order just got easier — especially on tablets and mobile devices. The Work Completed Notes field now automatically expands to fit the length of your text, making it much easier to review and edit longer entries. No more cramped text boxes or cut-off comments.

SM Expense Routing by Reviewer

Expenses tied to SM Work Orders can now be routed to the reviewer assigned to the work order in Vista. This ensures a smoother, more accurate approval flow.

System & Admin Enhancements

Faster Badge Count Updates

Improvements were made to how quickly badge counts (like approvals or requests) refresh across browser tabs and devices.

External Links on the Homepage

Add custom links by company that appear at the bottom of the portal homepage. Great for linking out to HR tools, safety docs, or benefits platforms.

Additional Improvements Worth Exploring

Progress Entry Enhancements

Progress entries can now be sorted by completion status and navigated more easily across pages.

Performance Reviews Sync with Vista

When a performance review is finalized in the portal, the employee’s Position Code will automatically update in Vista’s HR Resources tab, provided a code was already entered.
